Why would an organization associate itself with AIESEC? This is a very reasonable question and much of the answer lies in the fact that an organization can benefit greatly in a number of ways. Some of these are outlines below:

Company Benefits

1. Exposure – Opportunities to get their brand name out there and to interact in a positive environment with young leaders from university. Companies are trying to find ways to distinguish themselves as a company of choice in the eyes of students, and visible support of a leading organisation like AIESEC is one way to do it. As well, companies also want to hire leaders right out of University and through exposure and interaction, it hopes to be able to find better people to join their business. AIESEC undoubtedly offers organizations the so-sought after “intellectual capital” that can adapt to a fast changing corporate world.

2. Strategic partnership – If they already take traineeships or participate and support AIESEC in other ways, a company may be interested in expanding the partnership to be able to help AIESEC succeed and to benefit from a continued and strong relationship with a healthy organisation. Also, in an era where “corporate social responsibility, CSR” is picking up such importance and glamour, an association with a registered charitable organization such as AIESEC is extremely well perceived within the global community.

3. Belief and contribution – There are many companies that believe in the vision and ability of AIESEC to create future leaders and contribute to the cross-cultural development of communities and the world since their training begins from day 1 into AIESEC. They support AIESEC because an alumnus has experienced the power of AIESEC, or has interacted with AIESEC’s student leaders, and want to be able to make a contribution to the community.
