Be a GIP Partner

The year 2005 has brought about a lot of change for AIESEC Canada and consequently, our local AIESEC McGill in Montreal. The shift from the traditional ITEP (International Trainee Exchange Program) to the new GIP (Global Internship Program) has triggered more than just a change of name. It is following in its trail a renewed image that we are having to adapt to. Times change and we have to change alongside in order not to become obsolete and remain competitive in the world forum.

As a local, AIESEC McGill coming out of the wake of a highly successful NLDC 2005 has hard to do to adapt to this new image. We have to re-invent ourselves and the way of 'selling' our internship programs. GIP is the new language that provides the right 'fit' for the world of today. It offers in contrast to ITEP, a higher quality of internship with greater leveraging power for the corporate world of today. It caters to the needs and demands of the organizations that we service already and the new ones that we aspire to service soon.

GIP, Global Internship Program is a short-term work exchange (from 2 to 18 months) for university students and recent graduates. It is reciprocal, that is for every foreign student who comes to work in a Canadian business, AIESEC in Canada can send one Canadian student to work in another AIESEC country.

AIESEC McGill is proud to welcome you, organizations to approach us and work with us.
