Take A Role

Job Descriptions for Corporate Development Portfolio

Team leaders

These members will take on a mentorship role, to help guide new members as they begin marketing AIESEC. They will be expected to attend marketing calls with their new members (at least until new members are confident enough to market alone), and will be responsible for assessing the strengths and weaknesses of their team members, to ensure more effective marketing training. Team leaders will thus be asked to keep a written account of the areas where their team members need more coaching. They will be required to dedicate a maximum of ten hours a week to AIESEC, in which time they will be required to meet with their own team at least once. Team Leaders will meet with Natasha and Priya once every two weeks, and will be expected to present themselves to a monthly training session for the corporate development portfolio. They will be required to check their e-mail account once every 48 hours (so that information can easily be spread throughout the portfolio), and will be required to send updates to the salesforce coordinator once a week, to ensure that the data is being tracked accurately.

Salesforce Coordinator

Essentially, this member will be responsible for the tracking of marketing related data. This means both that the person will be responsible for data entry, as well as for coordination of marketing calls (ie: finding someone to go on the call, finding someone who can provide automobile transportation if required). Also, this person will be responsible for making members aware of company overlap (ie: if a company has already been contacted by another aiesec local, etc). This person need not put in more than 2 hours a week, and could easily take part in a marketing team if they should desire to do so.

Networking Coordinator (this applies to both the CD and ER portfolios):

This member would be responsible for researching any upcoming networking events, such that we can meet potential intern takers, or possible sponsors. This would require consistent research via all types of media. A weekly communication to the executive entailing any potential networking events, as well as their respective pertinent details would be required. Essential to this position, would be creativity and a proven zeal for current issues since scanning the horizon for networking possibilities is a combination of research wit and being to connect things which on the onset seem unrelated.
